An exciting month with the release of two books from the Forgotten Wings universe.
Although the stories and tone are quite different, both occur in the same timeframe and so it is logical to release them together.
Halja’s Gate is the more ‘adult’ of the two, with scenes I would not recommend to my younger readers. On the other hand, To Hell and hopefully back is an exciting book with challenging ideas, but nothing that I believe a young adult could not safely cope with. The older amongst you will love it too — guaranteed! Age-safe should not mean dumbed-down in my opinion!
To set the context a little, Sapphira Rossini is a fallen angel, once a princess of Hell, who has claimed dominion over the demons of Earth. As the very Queen of Demons she has many responsibilities, responsibilities that she shifts over to her sister-in-soul Stansie Ballare when she needs to mount a rescue mission for her beloved wife. The two books follow both their stories during this time.
